2018 Seton High School Essay Contest
“What Homeschooling Has Helped Me Achieve”
Time to sharpen up your pencils, break out your pens, and open your laptops. Seton’s 2018 High School Essay Contest has begun!
The theme of Seton’s latest essay contest can take you in many different directions. Perhaps homeschooling has enabled you to excel in activities like gymnastics, ballet, music, or sports.
Perhaps learning at home has allowed you to grow mentally and spiritually in ways you never imagined or thought possible.
Perhaps the flexibility of homeschooling has given you and your family the freedom to travel or has provided you with some new opportunity such as a mission trip or volunteering in a soup kitchen.
Your approach to your chosen topic is also up to you. Your essay, for example, may be serious or humorous, a narrative of a specific event or a thoughtful picture of the gifts you have received from your home education.
Seton students are generally excellent writers, so take your training in syntax, grammar, and the art of the essay, add your own creative touch, and send us your composition. Here’s your chance to shine!
