Just over a year ago, the
Bayley Bulletin
launched with the vision of creating an
inspirational, exciting and informative
magazine for Seton High Schoolers.
Although it was largely launched online,
and not as an actual, printed magazine,
our high schoolers have been riveted to
each issue, eager for every new contest and
stomping their figurative feet for opportunities to share their insights
and creativity.
One year later, we have grown from showcasing our contest finalists
to incorporating articles and information from our College Partner
Program, alum and student profiles, and more recently, insghts into the
developments on Seton’s online courses.
And next year will continue to be just as exciting. We hope you’ve
subscribed to the weekly email roundup so that you don’t miss a beat!
This Winter Quarter issue shares our “Basket of Cheer’ contest, a
cross-grade cornucopia of four categories. Hands down, it was the best
contest we’ve ever run, in terms of student interest and participation.
We’re showingcasing the finalist from each category right here.
Honorable mentions will be published online, so stay tuned!
We also have our new Spring Story contest, on an Easter theme, so
get your mental muscles flexed for some creative writing! And we’re
also announcing our first SQOQ (that’s right, say ‘squawk’), the Survey
Question of the Quarter, where we get your feedback and ideas for
things the
Bulletin
can explore with you.
We hope that the articles from Seton graduates and students invigorate
you to meet your high school goals, and that meeting John Regnier in
his student profile helps you feel just that little bit more connected to
the Seton high school community.
