TARYN MAKES CIVIL AIR PATROL RECORDS
I made Civil Air Patrol records. I was the first person to ever enter as a basic
student, receive an award for overall best student of the day, be promoted to staff,
and receive overall best cadet NCO staff member of the day, in one encampment.
(An encampment is a week long training event in the Civil Air Patrol, that is
comparable to military basic training.)
DANIEL COMPLETES B.S. IN NEUROSCIENCE
After graduating from Seton, I went on to complete my B.S. in Neuroscience at the
University of St. Thomas and, after a gap year during which I taught and performed
classical/flamenco/jazz guitar, I was accepted to the University of Minnesota Medical
School and started in August 2015. During my gap year, I also recorded my fifth full-
length album called Wistful Tendrils.
DANIEL ORDAINED TRANSITIONAL DEACON IN DIOCESE OF LEXINGTON
Daniel was ordained a Transitional Deacon, on Oct. 1, 2015 and is being vested by
Deacon Robert Clay Adams who was ordained in his Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky
in May, 2015. Both attended St. John Vianney Seminary at the U. of St. Thomas in
St. Paul, MN, graduating in 2012. Then they went on to the Pontifical North
American College in Rome, Italy.
SARAH ACCEPTED TO AQUINAS COLLEGE WITH V.P. SCHOLARSHIP
I’m a 2015 Seton senior, and am proud to announce that in the Fall of 2015, I started
as a freshman at Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee. I was also a recipient of
one of the Vice President’s scholarships, which will cover 50% of my tuition each
year. After college, I hope to be a writer of some kind; I would love to be an author of
books for teens and young adults.
