schedule, classes, and study habits (for the most
part) and it is up to you to keep your grades up and
take care of yourself. Additionally, I am very thankful
to Seton for all the practice I have had analyzing and
writing papers. I have put these skills to good use
and am currently writing an average of 2-3 papers a
week.
What are you doing now?
Right now I am just starting out my journey of
creating and establishing a career. I am loving every
step of the journey and cannot wait to see where the
road ahead of me leads.
5. What gives you passion or motivation in
your current occupation?
Music is most definitely my passion! Every aspect
of my life can somehow be tied back into music of
some form or another. However, computers have
always fascinated me as well and I am really excited
to explore avenues that could combine both music
and computers.
Any advice for current Seton
High-Schoolers?
Don’t give up! You may not be able to see your
future or know what you want to do right now but
that is okay! You will most likely change your mind
a lot. I have changed my goals for the future more
times than I can count and I am not even done yet!
However, if you are confident you want to go the
academic route, I would really encourage looking
into Running Start/Dual Enrollment programs at
your local colleges and universities. Participating in
programs like these will give you a huge edge when
you “officially” become a college student. And it is a
lot of fun to explain to “real” college students in your
classes why you are taking Calculus I, II, or even III,
and haven’t even graduated high school yet.
But most importantly, be sure to spend time with
your family, enjoy being in high school, and don’t
stress about the future too much! Good luck and God
be with you in your life’s journey!
